Our Education Program

ADRA believes that access to quality education is a basic human right. But right now, only *63% of grade 1 students in Lao even reach grade 5. This has made primary education a top development *priority for the government. In line with this and the Millennium Development Goal 2, which aims to have all boys and girls complete a full course of primary education, the objective of our education program is to work towards improved equitable access to and improved quality of primary education in targeted rural areas.

Our Education Projects

Mok Mai Integrated Program
Based on ADRA Lao’s experience and the participatory assessment, it was determined that year 3 of MKWASH would be used as an opportunity to move into working with some of the poorest villages and households in Xiengkhuang Province, in the areas of health, education and food security.
